Your 11-day odyssey begins in the thousand-year-old capital of Hanoi. Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport (HAN), your private chauffeur will escort you to your boutique adventure hotel in the Old Quarter. At 6 PM, join your expedition leader for a comprehensive safety briefing, technical gear check, and a welcome toast. Day 2: Hanoi to Sapa | The Ascent to the Tonkinese Alps (B, L, D)

Leave the city behind as we board our private express bus for a 5-hour journey toward the Hoang Lien Son mountain range. As the elevation rises, watch the landscape transform from flat deltas to towering peaks. After a high-altitude lunch in Sapa, meet your local H’mong guide for an introductory walk to get acclimated to the crisp mountain air. Tonight, enjoy a welcome mountain dinner featuring local “Thang Co” or sturgeon hotpot, preparing your body for the trek ahead.

Day 3: Sapa Trekking | Hoang Lien National Park Deep-Dive (B, L, D)

Embark on a 12 km (7.5 mi) trek into the heart of the national park. This is an immersion into the “intangible heritage” of the mountains; navigate the vertigo-inducing ridgelines of the Muong Hoa Valley, descending through the iconic terraced rice fields of Lao Chai and Ta Van. Tonight, stay with a Giay ethnic family in an authentic village homestay, complete with a traditional herbal foot bath to soothe trekking muscles.

  • Accommodation: Village Homestay, Ta Van.

Day 4: Su Pan Ascent & Return to Hanoi (B, L)

Conclude your mountain circuit with a final morning trek to Su Pan Village, a remote outpost offering expansive panoramic views of the Tonkinese Alps. • Accommodation: Selected Adventure Hotel, Hanoi.

  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.

5

Day 5: Hanoi Cultural Walk & West Lake Warm-up Ride (B, L)

Explore the historical core of Hanoi on foot, visiting the Ho Chi Minh Complex and the 11th-century Temple of Literature. In the afternoon, we transition to two wheels. Frequently Asked Questions
  • We cover roughly 60-70 km per day, mostly on flat or gently undulating roads. Our private minibus follows the riders; if you feel tired or want to skip a section, you can hop in and rest, then rejoin the ride whenever you feel ready.

  • Hanoi is the logistical heart of the North. Returning allows us to perform professional bike fittings and swap trekking boots for cycling gear, ensuring your transition to the Pu Luong leg is seamless and comfortable.

  • our homestays offer a balance of authenticity and comfort. You will sleep on clean mattresses in a shared hall of a traditional stilt house, with hot showers and high hygiene standards, providing a true "immersion" without the "hardship."

  • We utilize secluded routes in Lan Ha Bay to avoid the mass-tourism traffic of Ha Long. Our kayaking sessions take you into lagoons accessible only by small craft, ensuring a quiet, intimate connection with the karst landscape.

  • Hanoi acts as the logistical "hub." Returning to the city allows us to swap trekking gear for cycling equipment, perform bike fittings, and ensures you aren't spending 10+ hours in a car trying to cross the mountain ranges between Sapa and Pu Luong.
