These terms and conditions apply to all our services, whether provided directly or indirectly (through distributors), and are accessible online, via email, or over the phone. By accessing, browsing, and using our website, or by making a reservation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined below, which also include our privacy statement. These terms and conditions represent the complete agreement between you and Amie Travel.

If you choose not to read or accept these terms and conditions, please refrain from using this website or its services. By accessing any part of the amietravel.com website, you are consenting to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. Deposit & Payment policies

Deposit:

To secure a reservation for paid tours in advance, customers are required to make a deposit ranging from 30% to 50%. Once the deposit has been received, customers can expect to receive confirmation documents or vouchers within 24 hours. The remaining payment can be settled before the travel date through online payment methods or bank transfer. Alternatively, we offer the option of settling the final payment at our office upon your arrival in Hanoi, or we can provide assistance by visiting your hotel to facilitate the payment process.

You have the option to make online payments for your booking using credit cards through Vietnamese e-wallets such as Wise/VTC Pay. Amie Travel is a verified member of the Wise/VTC system, and we accept UnionPay, Visa, MasterCard, and JCB cards. To ensure the security of your card information during transmission, we utilize the OnePay security system. Once your payment is processed, we will generate an invoice and provide you with a guide on how to deposit your packages. Please note that a service fee of 3.7% with VTC and 4% with Wise will be applied for credit card payments. If you require additional details, information, or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Important Notice: It is crucial to accurately provide the Account Number, Account Name, and Swift code when making a payment. This information is essential to ensure the smooth and successful receipt of your funds. Please ensure that all charges associated with the payment are borne by the remitter.

For alternative payment methods such as telegraphic transfer, credit card authorization letter, or utilizing Western Union Global Transfer, kindly get in touch with us for further details and instructions. We will be happy to assist you with any additional information you may require.

2. Booking Amendments

Once your booking is confirmed, you have the flexibility to make amendments if needed. Simply contact our reservations team at info@amietravel.com, providing your booking number, and they will be glad to assist you in modifying your reservation. Any additional expenses that may arise as a result of the changes will be communicated to you beforehand, allowing you to make an informed decision regarding the amendment of services or travel dates.

3. Cancellations & Refund Policy

Cancellation fees for bookings are determined by our various local operators, including different cruise lines and partners, each of which has their own cancellation policies. You can find detailed information about cancellation and refund policies for each specific cruise under the Rate & Availability tab.

Please note that no refund or exchange can be provided if a customer decides to opt out while the tour is ongoing. Additionally, if you have not utilized any of the services, no compensation will be given for the unused portion of the tour.

The general cancellation policy for main services is as follows:

  • 45 days prior to the arrival date: A non-refundable deposit charge will be applied, along with any cancellation fees imposed by the relevant service suppliers (flight company, boat company, train, hotels, etc.) in accordance with their respective cancellation policies.
  • 44 to 31 days prior to the arrival date: A cancellation fee of 30% per group/booking will be charged, in addition to the cancellation fees determined by the service suppliers (flight company, boat company, train, hotels, etc.) according to their cancellation policies.
  • 30 to 21 days prior to the arrival date: A cancellation fee of 50% per group/booking will be charged, along with any cancellation fees imposed by the concerned service suppliers (flight company, boat company, train, hotels, etc.) in accordance with their cancellation policies.
  • 20 to 15 days before the arrival date: A cancellation fee of 70% per group/booking will be charged, in addition to the cancellation fees determined by the service suppliers (flight company, boat company, train, hotels, etc.) based on their cancellation policies.
  • Less than 14 days before the arrival date or No show: A 100% charge per group/booking will be applied.

Please be aware that certain hotels, promotional offers, or peak season periods may have specific cancellation policies, which will be confirmed via email and followed accordingly.

4. Passport and Entry Visa

Please ensure that your passport is valid for at least 06 months beyond your intended date of entry to your travel destination. It is your responsibility to verify and ensure that you have a valid passport, visa, and any other necessary travel documents required for your trip. Please make sure that all your travel documents are valid and up to date before your departure.

5. Liability and Insurance

Amie Travel holds no responsibility for any loss, injury, or damage suffered by passengers resulting from delays, accidents, natural disasters, political unrest, or any other unforeseen circumstances. 

Passengers are advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance to safeguard themselves against such situations. Itineraries and accommodation arrangements may be subject to changes due to airline schedules or local conditions. In such cases, every effort will be made to provide a suitable alternative of comparable value. By participating in any tour, all parties involved are deemed to have fully agreed to the aforementioned conditions.

6. Children Policies

  • The infant will be shared a bed and food with their parents
  • Children under 4 years old are free of charge for land services, only charge fee from airlines if have.
  • + Children from 5-9 years old: 75% of adult price, or quote case by case
  • + Children from 10 years old up: 100% adult price

7. Amie Travel guarantee

  • The price and availability status of the tour mentioned in the attached file are current. However, please be aware that changes in the tour’s price and availability are inevitable and depend on the timing of your booking as well as the availability of remaining tickets from tour operators.
  • Our commitment is to provide you with high-quality services at the best possible prices. We guarantee that our prices are at least 30% cheaper than the market prices for the same tour.
  • In addition, if you are able to find another agency offering the same package and quality at a lower price than ours before 7 days prior to departure, we are willing to refund your group accordingly.
  • We are dedicated to ensuring your satisfaction with the quality of your trip. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with the quality of your experience as we have committed, we are prepared to provide you with a refund.
